Fest Info

The FirehawkFest will take place in San Diego, CA Sunday, September 26, 2004. Planned activities are Dyno Day and Bar-B-Que the day before (On Saturday Sept 25, 2004), Dyno Day starts at 9:00 and the first 10 slots are for Firehawks only, then after that, it will be open for all local people to sign up. After the Dyno Day, all Firehawk members will be welcomed to my house to enjoy some BBQ and lounging. The FirehawkFest will take place at a place called the Embarcedero Park behind the San Diego Convention Center and Seaport Village. The show will start at 9:00 and probably be finished around 3:00 after which, we can either do a quick little cruise around San Diego, then grab some grub, or just say our good byes. The Fest will be taking part in a bigger car show called The Fall Classic, that will be put on by the Camaro Club of San Diego. We will have our own judges AND we can participate in the larger show for thier prizes and awards. I will nail down the h!
otel tomorrow, but as of now everyone will enjoy a reduced rate of $125 at the Grand Hotel in Downtown San Diego (approximate 1/2 mile from the show grounds). I will make my final announcement and what not on Wednesday of this week.
